Here’s what’s new at the wine bar this week.
Our beers are really moving on our rotating taps. The people have spoken, and Whitestone 1431 Amber Ale is a hit. We just picked up a new keg since the last was finished in only a week! To accompany Deviant Dale’s IPA we brought in Dale’s Pale Ale, a balance of pale malts and citrusy floral hops that is also from Oskar Blues Brewery located in Colorado.
We’ve added two new whites to our eight rotating wine taps as well as two reds this week. The Raptor Ridge Gruner Veltliner out of Willamette, Oregon is a classic Old World grape with a modern spin. “It's ripe, round and lightly spicy, with jicama, cucumber and fleshy pear fruit. The finish is persistent and tags you with a touch of heat.” Out of Clarksburg, CA we have Dancing Coyote Pinot Grigio, “A well-balanced, dry white wine with intriguing scents of green apple, pear and honeydew melon. This lighter-bodied wine has a bright crisp, mineral finish.” On the reds we have the Bodega Calle Malbec out of Mendoza Valley, Argentina and the Montelvini Venegazzu Cabernet and Merlot blend out of Veneto, Italy that we had when we first opened just about five months ago.
Kicking us off for live music is a returning favorite, Caleb Grant Thursday, April 12th 6-9 pm and Dusty Jones performing Saturday, April 14th during our first ever annual Louisiana style crawfish boil! You can prepay per pound online or at the bar for $6.99 per pound or day of the event for $8.99 per pound. Reserve how many pounds you want today!
