Here's what we added this week at Craft & Racked Wine Bar! As always we are changing things up with new beer and wine taps. This week we have brought in four new beer including one whole new tap. On our new 15th beer tap we have Larry's Latest Sour Ale from Bell's Brewery out of Comstock, Michigan. Larry's Latest, which is new to draft this year, is dry- hopped and kettle soured full of tropical fruit aroma. While a bit eccentric it has quickly become a favorite in the new sour beer trend.
Also new to beer taps we have brought back an old favorite, Love Street from Karbach Brewing located in Houston, TX. This mellow refreshing German Kolsch Style Blonde was such a hit the first time we decide to do an encore. Since we have drained our seasonal Whitestone Keg it was time to try something new from Cedar Park, TX. We brought in Konverter Kolsch from Whitestone and this easy drinking, light, refreshing beer will soon be a hit as well. Last on our new beer tap list is Blood & Honey from Revolver Brewing also located in Texas. Blood & Honey already has quite a local following. This American wheat ale is brewed with blood orange for that a bit of a citrus bite, then finished with local Texas honey for the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. On the wine taps we have finished our beloved Prosecco and thought it would be fun to give a Sparkling Chardonnay a try. This Chardonnay is aged a bit longer and will be apparent by it's gold-ish appearance. The Chardonnay grapes are picked a bit early to preserve some acidity then barrel aged for a richer, creamy taste. Also on the white taps we have brought in Our Bending Branch White Blend our of Comfort, TX. The white is a blend of two grapes, Muscat for a hint of sweet and Rousanne for a dry finish. These new additions are light and refreshing and perfect for anyone ready for a hint of Spring! New on our food menu we have brought in a Sangria Tart from Lulu's Bakery out of Georgetown and we can not wait to see what ya'll think! We kicked off this weeks festivities with Geeks Who Drink yet again and will be continuing every Monday beginning at 7:30. We have live music every Saturday and this week we are happy to feature Dino Panichi from 7-10. It's Dino's first time at Craft & Racked and we are excited to see what he can do! New on the agenda is open mic night coming weekly beginning this Sunday, February 4th 2-5 also hosted by Dino Panichi.
